Live blog post from dConstruct 2007

Gratuitous live blog post from dConstruct — because I can.

Just heard Cameron Moll, doing the so-called sleeper shift (straight after a 1.5 hr lunch break). No chance of sleeping through that. What a sickeningly lucid and entertaining guy!

Not wishing to be uncharitable, but the standard of the speakers today has been variable. I enjoyed Jared Spool, Peter Merholz was OK (and he showcased a fascinating prototype called Charmr which I hope to blog about later). Whilst Leisa Reichelt’s subject matter was sufficiently thoughtful to sustain my interest, I found her presentation style meandering and and it wasn’t enough to hold some people back from an early lunch. I do intend to follow up on her talk though – and see if I can introduce some of her methodology concepts at Futurelab.

Currently on a talk about Flickr and B3ta. It’s OK, but making me want to upload photos and go read fart jokes.
